Your love have set us free

Everyday is a joy.
Indeed, be optimistic in life, at the end of the day, we only have 1 life to live.
Be happy, cheerful and indeed if He sets us free, we are free.

The battle has won, the only thing is that is time for us to spread the everlasting love
from You to the rest of the people.

Thank You, my Lord.

Work Ethics

Work should be fun, at the same time productive.
A Happy employee is a productive one.
Passion drives a person to go further.

Anyway, every step of the way, the most important thing is that
allow Him to steer your course to the destination.

New phase of life, new challenges, new motivations. new colleagues.
This is when we need the strength of Him more and more.
So, always abide in hope, faith and love.

Everyday is day of joy

Each day no matter good or bad, there is always something to look forward to.
Things come and go.

Well, I am working officially but I have no income yet, hahaha...
This job is based on solely commission.
Never mind about that, $$ is not so important yet.

To me, if someone has to sell their house to pay for their medical bills, then it is a concern for me.
To me, if someone has to depend on others for support for the rest of his life, it is a concern for me.
To me, if someone has not enough retirement funds in his old age, it is a concern for me.
To me, if things happen and we are not prepared, it is too late.

Hahaha, people were quite surprised when I decide to go this line. I expected it anyway, to me if I am happy and things that I have passion in, i will do it.

To me, I shall be led by Him to wherever He wants me to go.
Thats the beauty of the power of we. (The Shepherd and the sheep)

Tata for now,
Dennis :)

Back from the KL Trip

Well, it was great and I had a fun time with Keegan, Eugene and Joseph at KL.
Even though it was a short 3 days trip, it was wonderful and we get to experience what KL is like.
the food was fabulous and the experience taking the monorail was awesome.

anyway, what if I have only 5 years to live, sometimes I wondered.
What are the things that I want to do the most?

It is definitely not the money but to experience life everyday of my life.
Happiness, Joy, peace, and being optimistic are inner experiences that I want to have till the day I passed on. Life is unpredictable, live life to the fullest and bring joy and happiness to the people around you.

You will never be alone...

Confused...

Left, right, up, down.

Life Is full of confusions. Suddenly it is thrown out of array. Nothing seems Certain. A Christian life is not always smooth sailing.

Knowing too much may not be a good thing. But it teaches us to always let God control the steering wheel. Our faith in God must always be strong. Strong in the Word, strong in the relationship in God.
Forgive and forget. Always choose faith, love and hope...

And love covers all sins...

Trying too hard...

Why are we living our lives?
Why things have to be that way?

In life we try to understand the things around us through our head.
The intentions, actions and rationale of things - guessing and assuming things that are
around us.

Acceptance from people, seeking counsel among friends.
I do agree life is like this.

When something excites us, we will do it. But what if the excitement dies...
What is left is your resolve to that purpose.
We as people are naturally inclined to cast of things that are not so important.

In anyway, always commit our lives onto Him, seek His counsel and place your attention onto Him. I believed that it is important to gain that faith and remind ourselves once again what are we doing to our lives?

When you step into uncertainty, the only certain is that God is your guiding light to your uncertainty.

Start of a new beginning...

Things have ended. Exams Done. Everything is done as a student.

Today marks the day that I have graduated well not in sim yet but a year course at SP,
Learn quite a no. of creative stuff so pretty happy about it... haaha...
Exams ended in sim too... preparing the next step in life.. that is career...

Hmm.. going to insurance first... same time pursue my interest in creative media...
Hone my skills more before launching to something bigger.
Bold
Why do insurance, many people have asked.

Definitely not a glamorous job. Neither is an easy job.
The boss may tell you that you can earn a lot... easier said than done.
Anyway, the objective of me joining this industry is because some people whom I met don't really value the importance of insuring your future.

We tend to enjoy the now more than we think of the consequences of the future.
If anything happens to me, I am not sure whether I can leave any money behind if I do not buy some form of insurance.

Savings for the future is the test of how discipline you are.
I don't really like to chalk up credit card debts. I usually pay the bills on time and don't let the bank earn any interest.

You may say that you can save money in the bank. yes you can, it offers more liquidity and you can draw out any time. But, the interest is about 0.5% or lesser which is why you can never see your savings fight inflation. But you say that you can earn more by putting to shares and earn dividends that is more than getting a savings plan from an insurance company. That's true too, but equities are of higher risk and you can see the value of your shares drop in bad economic time.

The savings plan from an insurance company generally offers higher returns than banks' interest rate but usually lower returns from dividends of shares. You may need to pay premium every month to the savings plan for 10years to 15 years for example, which is kind of long. Remember is for the future, it will instill discipline for you to save and it will act as a deterrence for you to withdraw as the surrender value of the plan can be lower if you choose to surrender early. So in a nutshell, you are so called "forced" to save for the future.

Right now, my auntie just got back her money after faithfully saving for more than 10 years in a savings plan. She might be tempted to surrender mid way through, but she push on to the end. At the end of the day...
It was all worth it after seeing the savings + compounded interest.

We have come so far to make a decision

This is the first time I am voting.
I am deeply impressed by the fervency and passion that the opposition parties have bring.
Nevertheless, they are just barely touching the surface of these issues.
Now then I realise the importance of information.

These questions I want to ask.

1. If there is no accountability to the citizens, how exactly can the opposition analyse and formulate policies if information may not be freely available.
The OPP ARE MAKING BOUNDED RATIONALITY DECISION, for this we cannot blame them.
The whites can say everything that the incumbent party has done for us previously, but if information is limited how exactly we make informed choices to vote for them.

2. Secondly, how are public housing "affordable". I am very worried for the future generations, 20, 30 years down the road. What will the price be? $1 million for a 4 room flat? Affordable as in taking up 50 years loan to repay the debt? Now it gets me questioning.

No wonder, now I know some of my countrymen are not happy citizens. They are busy working and working trying to save $ to get married and buy houses and so on. That's why the Singaporean population is going down, because they may not have much money left for having kids and this resorts to more immigrants coming to live here.

Cant you see that there is a relationship between "affordable" housing and population concerns?

Analysis of the political environment in Singapore

This is an article written with respect to the climax of political environment happening in Singapore.

Bounded Rationality on choosing the right party
According to Herbert Simon (1958), he said that humans are bounded rational, rather than optimizing, the actor satisfies that is, choosing a satisfying course of action which is based on a sub-set of all alternative courses of action. These is especially true when there are information bombarding us about the various political parties agenda, in this case the good and the bad of them.

Choosing the right political party, requires careful thought and analysis and these require lots of time. Since living in Singapore can be quite busy sometimes, where do people find the time to scrutinize every party manifesto. Hence, we relied on network externalities such as word of mouth, online social media such as Facebook, The Online Citizen & Temasek Review to make a bounded rational decision to vote. In my opinon, the online netizens will have a more negative impression on the incumbent party.

Information is power
This would be better expressed as 'asymmetric information confers power' The central question which arises now is how distribution of information/knowledge in an organisation determines the way it is controlled and co-ordinated and, thus, perhaps also its objectives. Information about the overspending breakdown of the YOG budget is perhaps not reveal fully, how then can we know the justification of overspending. If the overspending was done to spur marketing efforts to attract tourists and provide jobs such as cleaners to clean the stadium, I can fully understand the government efforts.

Conclusion
There is a growing trend in which youth these days are taking their grievances onto social media, and they are not afraid to speak up their minds. While the incumbents have done a good job in ensuring the peace and stability of our country, the question is we are taught in universities to critically analyse the proposition and give an alternative answers to a particular question. Then why shouldn't we have a fair debate on the policies. The government should not dismiss the online netizens entirely as noise as some of them posted valid arguments for the betterment of Singapore. In order to be competitve in this world, we need to be innovative not just in businesses but also in politics as well. Clashes of ideas will bring forth ideas that may potentially bring our country to the next level.

Truth Prevails all

Negativity brings us to nowhere.
I wonder whats life going to be without me.
Well, it won't make any difference. Everything just move on.
The world just rotates as per normal.

Now, the issue is what if I am in the world,
I can't have all the friends in the world, some friends are closer, some are further.
Yet we live each day aiming to achieve something one day.
Is life really that mundane.
Well, to all people who are in this world, we are the citizens of Earth.
Now, we only have "this" lifetime here and the clock is ticking.
What matter most is we live each day as a present and

just yourself will make a difference in this world, if you choose to make the best out of your life.

Love transcend all things

What is more important than the world?
What is more important than ourselves?

I thank God for His unconditional love that He gave to all.
Whatever we have is nothing compared to having Him.
He is more than sufficient in our lives.

Well today it has been an impactful service.
I believe we should be truely thankful for the gift of life that has been given to us.

You. God. More than enough.

Living in the breath of God

So far for my prelims, hmm I think I did pretty well. haha.. Nevertheless, I am grateful for everything that has been placed in my hands.

Well, I am approaching the next stage of my life soon... real soon after these exams.
Every step I take is precious and I hope people who read my blog will be contented with their walk here on earth.

We live in a broken down world where bad things happen to good people.
Whatever circumstances we may in, be thankful for the life that is in you.
After all, we are staying temporary in this place.

Make an impact in this world, leave a footprint that touch lives.

Yours Truly,
Dennis

Why opposition parties matter in Singapore.

The government is economical and pragmatic.

It should look at the psychological and sociological aspects of the people lives.
To increase productivity among SIngaporeans is simple. You don't need a mathematical formula to do it.

We need to value the intrinsic value of human not in terms of economical aspects but genuinely treat Singaporeans as fellow brothers and sisters.

The red colour of our flag represents universal brotherhood and equality of man.
Be it poor or rich, all MPs have to serve without prejudice, discrimination and lastly without personal ambition.

The greatest regret is that we can do lots of things for the country but without the love for the people of Singapore, it is pointless.

Deep down our inner core, we knew the opposition have not given up, and keep on fighting for us all these years. They can easily say we quit because the PAP is too strong. But they kept improving, keep going all these years without complaining. They have the tenacity to face setbacks after setbacks. Have the audacity to question the policies implemented because they think for us Singaporeans.

I believed if Workers' Party win this election, they will treasure the opportunities given by us people. Because they knew they cannot failed and I know they will work hard for us Singaporeans. In my eyes there are real champions because they never quit despite the odds against them.

With this you have my vote. Singaporeans you heard the call.

Politics in Singapore

Well, I am very excited about the political atmosphere in Singapore right now.
What ever happens in this election will determines our future.

What I am sadden about is the response of our PM, the PM should be impartial to any political parties and be objective. Isn't Potong Pasir and Hougang part of Singapore, they deserve upgrading too. Why deprived them of upgrading, don't they pay taxes too?

Well God has said it in the bible.
I believe God is pruning us to focus on His people in this generation.
Events happen around the world are all concerning about His people. Is it all too coincidental ?

Remember is about loving His people and not about money, fame, fortune, prestige or power.

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Philippians 2:3

And lastly the truth has been reveal, and the truth shall set us free.

Disappointed
Anger
Frustrated
Joy
Worried
Happy

Emotions are parts that make up our soul.
How wonderful it is that we can express ourselves in this wonderful world.

Every moment counts to our experience with the world.
Cheer up all people, there is always something to smile for.
That is thank you for being here on earth.

Happiness is about being thankful

Dear readers,

How happy are we these days, we are plagued by bad news like disasters after disasters.
News about war in the Middle East. Radiation that affects our health. How safe are we these
days. What is deemed safe may not be safe in future.

Often we take peace and security for granted in our own country. After all, we live in Singapore where we have a good government and safe environment and yet we are still unhappy.
Happiness is a way of the mind, a way of life. Be contented for what we have and enjoy the present with the things we have, the family we have and the friends we have.

Thank God for exams, it makes us realised we are able to do well, if we press on and preserve.
Thank God for problems, it makes us realised we are weak and we need God.
Thank God for my provisions, at least I know you still care about me.
Thank God for the friends, it makes me realised friends are important to my life.
Thank God for my family, it makes me realised I can share my dreams and ambitions with them.
Thank God for You, because You created me to be with You.

Step aside and thank God for your existence here on Earth because we are chosen to make a difference in this negative world. We bring light in the Earth.

Regards,
Dennis :)

Great Commandment | Great Commision | Cultural Mandate

Friends,

We have been pursing the Cultural Mandate all this while.
The church have been emphasizing on it for these few years.
Is good that we are excelling in our marketplaces.

Have we neglect the great commandment?
This is the question we have to ask ourselves these days.
Are we loving God and His people these days?

30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Mark 12:30-31

Once we have established our love with God and His people. The great commission and cultural mandate will naturally be part of our lives. We must not set our eyes solely on cultural mandate and neglect the great commandment.

The world events clearly show that the world needs God. Stop comparing with one another. We have races to run individually for the Lord.

Get up. Stand up. Be strong.

Dennis.

The Epiphany of life.

Life is it more than just pursuing success.

Well, time really flies and it is going to be the end of CF and a new batch of leaders will arise.
Truly, serving God is never easy but I am glad I obeyed and serve Him well.
Things can be tough and long, but thank God for His strength and protection.
Finally, thank Him for sending people to find the desire for serving and loving your people.

Right now, good things must come to an end and I wanna encourage all to stay strong in the Lord.
Forgive and forget the ugly sides of things and always look on the good sides of people.

Lastly, always remain teachable in all ways and allow the wisdom of God to lead our lives.
All the best for your future endeavors.

Dennis :)

Less Taken path

Well,
I have chosen my path...
A path that is highly challenging, highly avoided by people.
Many have chosen this path, and some survived some did not.
Lucrative or not is just an prep talk by the managers.

Is not whether I want to earn high pay or not.
It is not about the money...
Is about helping people to plan their finances...

It pains me when people overspent, owe debts to credit card banks.
Use money lavishly, not saving enough.
Why, it is because of consumerism, people spent because of external influences.
Glamour and glitz.

Well I intend to be financial adviser, put it out bluntly insurance agent.
People may say that you will be avoided like a plaque, I don't really bother because
I find a cause that is to make saving an important habit.

Spending wisely and have a generous heart.
Health insurance is a must for all those above 50 years old.
It pains me when someone cannot afford hospital bills and after they recover they are force to pay installments, and technically they are in debt.

Start saving and investing, when you are old you will be grateful :)

The power of We

I can do things.
We can do things together.

I make it.
We can make it together.

I want this.
We want these together.

I want to make this happen.
We want to make this happen together.

I want to be the top.
We want to to help each other to be the top of all.

Most of the time we are self-centered. Why not let God take your hand and do it together.

Be still & know...

Audacity to believe & Tenactiy to do it

In the midst of our exams, we have to believe we are in for a good time.
Stress is creeping and a lot of things have not covered.
Are we able to do it, I think we can.

Anyway I want to thank all the people who have helped me in today Prayer & Praise,
Didn't expect it would be so stressful but nevertheless thank you so much.

I also want to specially thank Joalin, for being the guitarist, I know I sang not so good, and sometimes

Left, Right, Left, Right

Air Control: Get ready for the next available lane to take off.
Pilot: Yes Sir, All systems set. Ready to go.
Co-Pilot: Hey buddy, we are going to London isn't that cool....
Pilot: Shuddup, can't you see I am concentrating.
Co-Pilot: Hey chill man, is just only a take off. That's no need to be so tense.

Air Control: ER 312 you are clear to go, Lane 2. Do you copy?
Pilot: Roger, proceeding to Lane 2 to take off.
Co-Pilot: Alright, let me do one final check on the aircraft systems.

The plane began to move into position in lane 2 preparing to take off. There was an awkward rambling sound located at left wing of the plane. Flight attendant called the pilot to notify about the aircraft wing that was on fire.

Co-Pilot: The monitor shows we are leaking fuel at an alarmingrate!! Stop Stop the plane now!
Air control: Stop the plane now! the left wing is on fire!! I repeat stop the plane now!

Hectic situations, problems came, people panic.
All came together. If you are just a movie-goer watching this flim in the cinema,
what would you do?

Life sometimes can be like a movie, unlike movie, life is not a script.
You began to look left and right, right and left for answers to life questions. Many times we find ourselves in dilemma, not knowing what steps to take next. We lose sight on the things that we set in the beginning, lose focus on the things that we are doing and finally lose the purpose of what we are doing. There can be many suggestions, recommendations, solutions and answers to which we can live our lives. Therefore we get confused.

Each person has a purpose. A purpose that is placed into your heart.
Stay focus on Jesus.
He is the one that will provide the only true solution to life questions.
Life may seem like a movie but let Jesus be the Pilot, Co-pilot, Air-Control Traffic of your life.
Your life is like the plane caught in fire, God can come and change steer the course for you if you are lost, He can put out the flames in your life if you can trust Him.

He can land the plane safely regardless of how much damage the plane has incurred.
To Him, nothing is impossible.

Seeya,
Dennis

What did I do today?

Well, today is just a normal day.
Went to central library at bugis and study, can't find a place man.
Pack to the max... nevertheless manage to find one...

After that went to Sharon's house for CNY dinner. And then some rounds of majong.
And here I am blogging -_-""

Becoming the better you...

We are not defined by our past. We are prepared by our past.
Every adversity, every obstacle is God depositing something on the inside.

Shake off the past.
Shake off every disappointment.
Shake off every injustice.
Shake off every failure.

Today is a new beginning.

Eat, Eat and Eat

This Chinese new year, I have ate a lot.
Bak Gua, pineapple tarts, chocolates, raw fish, you name it, i ate it.

Calories upon calories stacking up like a pyramid.
This year chinese new year is super shag, 4 days straight in a row of visting, it is taking a toll
on me. Nevertheless, ang baos are worth it.

For those out there who set a new year resolution to lose weight and didn't stick to it is ok.
You can still make a Chinese New Year resolution this year to lose weight lol.....

I got a feeling to say
You know you are old, when your cousins' children called you uncle.
You know you are old, when your relatives asked you where are you working now.
You know you are old, when some relatives forgot to give you ang pao.
You know you are old, when some aunties ask you when are you getting married.
You know you are old, when some uncles ask you to drive their cars and run some errands.

Well, this is chinese new year.. Enjoy...

Finding your first love...

It doesn't make a lot of sense if we serve and forget the true meaning of serving.
Business and fulfilling objectives are good and acceptable, but have we lost our first love?

So what's first love with God?
The feeling is like when we first got saved, we felt there is this love and belonging surrounding us.
The presence of God was so real and tangible. Is was as if there is this peace and joy that is very dear to our heart. It was like the reconciliation with the Father and His children. Immense joy.

Come back to God, have the child-like faith once again. Put aside all our complicated thoughts, beliefs and questions. Just come as who we are, no pretense before God. Linger and stay in His presence and commit our love for Him once again.

Everything is not important, Be with the Lord is the greatest of all.
As what Mary said let it onto me according to Your Word.
We may do things that are excellence and good, only God knows our relationship between you and Jesus.

I love Jesus. What about you?

Go ahead and laugh...

Well guys,
Exams are coming and we are pretty stressed up.
Last exams for me as a student, better treasure this time as a student.
This video is flimed when we have our exco outing.
Playnation, Microsoft Kinect.

Disclaimer: I am not professional dancer, this video is purely for fun.
No animals and humans were hurt in filming this video.
Laugh all you want, make sure you study after that.

PS: the rest of the videos are under-construction, editing in progress.. need some time so that you can see us dance.

Life is short. Enjoy life, have fun. Not forgetting we also have things to do. Plan your time wisely and I am sure you can enjoy life without compromising your studies, relationships, work, family and friends.

My blog has no video, and has less photos.

A picture speaks a thousand words,
A video speaks unlimited words.

Well, all of you know I am a weak drinker. I can't take alcohol. I guess it is blessing in disguise, haha.. I can save all the $$ and spend it on something else. haha..
I really hate the taste of beer haha.. shudders....

Hmm... Later on, the later post u will see me dancing haha...
I want to go club but I don't drink haha..
Who tell you go club must drink, who say must drink then can get high hahaha...

Likewise, for life,
An encouragement word speaks a thousand love.
A loving action speaks unlimited love.

What I did today?

People have been asking me what did I do today.

I did some exercise in the morning. It keeps the adrenaline pumping and I am super hyped up.
So later at around 11.45pm I left home to pioneer mrt station to wait for my 2 new church friends,
Nathan and Joseph. hahaha.... And then took a bus 241 to CHC!!

haha.. it was an awesome service!! Pastor Phil Pringle was simply great. He spoke about enduring the race that God has placed in front of us.

Anyway, went to Jurong Point, spend some time talking to my church mates. They are simply awesome. Song Sue actually told me what to look out for in a 2 piece KFC chicken meal. lolx.... The amount of flour and check whether the chicken has been overcooked a not.. amazing la.. so next time what to expect when eat KFC...

Warning: Those who want to keep fit, don't eat too much KFC lol haha...

Went home and read the newspaper and "downloading" those articles into my brain so that I can use them as examples for my studies. Oh ya, online shopping is addictive, you can spend literally hours looking for a lot of things. Anyway bought another new watch from Nautica. Awesome...

Lastly, 2011 is a great year ahead.
Stay strong and focused people and endured through the race.
Because the results you obtain at the end is definitely satisfying and worth it!!!

Doers of the word, not merely hearers

How many times did we actually applied what we have learned from church and school?

The question is we know what we are supposed to do.
We feel inspired and motivated after hearing impactful messages, attending seminars. Get high and feels good after an inspiring speech.

Do we really do it after we know what is right?
The answer is it boils down to whether we want to make it HAPPEN a not.
It boils down to how committed you want your life to be.
Grit your teeth, go through the discomfort and let's do it!!!

For the rest of the people who read this post.
Some points that will propel you to do things that you find it a struggle.

Imagine, Visualise the outcome of your hard work.
Eg: Obtaining First Class Honours for your studies and visualing that your degree printed "First Class Honours" in it.

Tell yourself if there is no tomorrow, will I regret that I didn't accomplised the task that I must do today?
Speak positive things, don't complain, don't find excuses. I can do the things that I set to achieve.
The greatest folly a man can do is to marvel at someone achievements and say whaaa.. this person is super on and everything he also can do it. Like wise, we also can do it. Is whether you want a not.

Finally, It's not how good you are, it's how good you want to be.

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
James 1:22-25 (NKJV)

I like this song, after someone kept singing. It kinda rings in my mind hahaha... Yupz.. Enjoy.

Is not easy, but not impossible

Certainly, there are no perfect people in the world.
There bound to be conflicts, troubles and problems when people come together. Different perspectives, different viewpoints, different thinking. But I always believe all things work for good for those who love Him. If we continue to love Him and work towards the will of God, surely love can cover a multitude of sins.

We all know that everyone has a past. Everyone is guilty of something. Everyone has flaws along the way. We all long for belonging and acceptance not just from God but people as well. We have a deep desire to be loved and love to be acknowledged. Ultimately, what struck me is what Jesus had said.

John 13:34-35

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

To all bros and sis, remember what Jesus has gave us, that is the new command. Love each other and protect them.

Yours truly,
Dennis

Big Question??

What is my traffic light status??
I can firmly declare is amber for now.... I guess things are still pretty unsure.
If you are asking me who, I am afraid I can't tell you anything yet at the moment.
Curiosity kills the cat, I guess lets kill it then. Definitely not within west coast GRC.

I guess living in Spore is somehow busy and boring at times. But there are always reasons to smile because of the little things we have here in this tiny dot.

Priorities in life
1. Relationships with friends and family
2. Healthy
3. Money
4. Serving the community
5. House
6. Car

Right I guessed these are more important in ascending order.

Run Yu

Is been a while since I saw you in church, I know you have been busy but I guess is always good to rely on God to guide you along in your studies. Being a student is not easy at all and we all know that we have to go through the dreaded exams. Stay faithful always and just spend at least 10 minutes praying to God before starting your studying. It will help you a long way.
Lastly, Run Yu, always stay optimistic, because God placed you there for a reason. Is to shine for him and do the best you can. Jia You!

Is time for ultimate resolve for CAT X ippt gold

After watching "The Fighter" movie, i realised nothing is impossible at all, just that along the way there are distractions that distract us from our main focus. Is tough and yes I am going to make it.

This is my last year as a CAT X candidate for ippt. Within this time frame, I am gonna go for gold this time round. I didn't achieve my dreams during my ns days so I am gonna achieve during my civillian days. I like what the bible says be doers of the Word.

Aftermath of the Internal Camp

Is totally tiring, hopefully the programs have been beneficial.
This camp is worth it. And this is the last camp for me as a student.
Needed to catch on my sleep after days of late night sleeps.
Time to finish assignments.

What next I don't know but this year I feel is special.
Nothing beats waking up on a brand new day.
Studies are important now.
Approaching the last lap of my race as a student.
Before that, thank God for every aspects of my life.
Things would have been different if I choose not to obey Him.
Thank God i obeyed and is time for greater challenges ahead.

Well, Time flies and things happen fast. What lasts are the friendships forged and lives transform and renewed.

Thank God that I have a CGL who constantly give me opportunities to contribute to the cell. Ever since I have come into W401, I have learnt to interact with people younger than me and grow ever since. Thank you for being with us since your uni days or the way to ur working days. Is a blessing to have you around. Even though you might be busy at times, you still took the effort to come to CG to attend with us. With that I am blessesd. Come what may, I believed God has placed a purpose in your life to glorify Him.

But you need to actively search and seek for it. Is not easy but I know it is not impossible. Stay strong and always trust in the Lord even though it is tough at work. Being at the marketplace can be challenging and diffcult, but I believe it is the faith and courage in God that allow us to shine in the marketplace. With that, always remember ultimately is God who placed us in whatever situation so that we can rely on Him and glorify Him in return.
Seeya soon!! )

Soon it will be internal camp 2011

SO fast is internal camp already,
hope tomorrow will be a good day for the dry run. Pray for good weather on the actual day and everyone will be super duper hyped up. Good team work and everything will be smooth.
Busy using brain power to plan the games and plan the locations for the war games.
No that easy as we have to squeeze with the UOL SRC people on that day.

Thank God for everything, including church mates, comm mates, cell mates, exco.. and everyone.
