Is going to be the end of the year..
What is next will be an exciting 2011 ahead.. Time really flies.
My time as a student is going to end soon. Exams are coming and the stress is soon to come too.
Hopefully I am able to get 2nd upper for my studies. Gonna finish the race.
Nevertheless, I have been busy planning the programs for next year internal camp. And I think it will be great... Hopefully nothing goes wrong on that day and please do not rain.
To all people, next year will be a year which we will strive hard and do well.
The journey has just begun, be on your guard, come on every person let's do our part, do it for God' glory, do it for God's glory... yea ")

We Are The Reason, Faith,Hope,Love
Certainly life has taught us the importance of relationships in life. Christmas is coming and the real relationship of this season is between God and men. Things were brought together so that we can experience real Christmas with each other.
This week has been really busy with Internal Camp programs and the Christmas Party. I really thank God and the Christmas party for planning such a wonderful and impactful event. Truly I am blessed by it. As I began to look through the past when the Xmas comm started planning for the activities, they had difficulties in many areas and yet they manage to pull out a successful event.
I really learnt that God placed different people together so that we can learn from each other and accept each other differences. Even though there may be disagreements but the love for God and each other propel them to accomplish the good race. It is just amazing.
With that, thank you guys! and we are the reason that God chose us because He first love us.

Joy of giving
Had a long day today. It was day 2 of Christmas Caroling at SIM. Today's audience were awesome, little children came to listen as well. I never regret singing Christmas Carols in school as this was a lifetime opportunity to sing to the school. And it was humbling and exciting!!
After that, we went for lunch and then went to student lounge to study. Oh man is Christmas and we are studying haha... But nevertheless is good to start a little than to start nothing at all. My favourite ICP lecturer, Mr Nageb, most funny and interesting lecturer I ever met in my life. He is going to treat curry puffs soon!! Get ready guys...
After that went to my church cell mate house for Christmas Dinner. It was fun and I enjoyed teasing all those people hahaha.... Good one guys! Thanks Hui Juan for the vouchers!! Now i have added Capitaland vouchers to my collection. lol...

The Beauty of Serving
It is a bright and busy day. Things are moving rather fast during December and there are lots of things to do. We should all the more remember God and seek Him daily.
Had caroling in school and it was amazing. Even though this was the first time, I definitely enjoyed singing Christmas classics like joy to the world, silent night in school. Good job guys!
Later went to MacDonald to do bible study on John study 8. It's by reading the Word of God, it will ignite the passion for Him. During dinner time we went to Clementi to had our dinner and it was raining. And they bought Koi after that. Luckily I didn't drink, Koi must have added something into the bubble teas and get people high. lol.
We went over to Ngee Ann to have bible study. As always we have learnt a lot from each other.
Si Rong - Pray that you will get well soon for your leg.

The power of words
The day starts with a fresh new day. Christmas seems to draw closer each day and i can slowly feel the excitement in the air. Attended Sunny Goh OTIA lecture, as always, learn a bit of things from him. Anyway, I went to Christmas carols after that and had fun practicing and can't believe in less than 12 hrs it will be the actual thing. Nevertheless, gonna give my best shot, God shall direct.
After that went to some costumes searching at bendeemer area, it has lots of different costumes but they were kinda expensive to rent them. Finally got an idea to dress as"HP" on that actual day itself. After that went to NEX for dinner. Not as many people as what many had said.
Later i went to friend's house for majong session. It was tiring but it was fun. Anyway take train back home with Jere, alighted at CCK station. and then took a cab home. $9. hmm is cheaper than i expected.
Taming of tounges
I was inspired when I read about the taming of tougues in the Bible in James 3:1-12. The tougue although is a small member of the body, it can add or destroy someone's life. It may not be physically damaging but it can cause emotional hurt to someone if we don't exercise wisdom when we talked. People can say that I am free to express myself in whatever I like but how many of us actually know that words can either make or break a person instanteously.
The words that are coming out from our mouth can actually set a whole forest on fire, that was what the Bible wrote. How true is that sometimes we may talk wildly or willfully without any considerations of others feelings, things will get complicated. There is a general saying, if we got nothing good to talk about, is better that we keep quiet rather than saying the wrong things. If we have good encouraging words say it out as it will edify and strengthen their beliefs.
Words have positive influence on each other life if only we speak in truth with love.
Words can make or break that person.
Words frame the world we live in.
In conclusion, we should always watch what we say and stay on guard to what are we going to say. Always exercise wisdom when talking and words that are discouraging, we should always forbabe talking about them. Like the bible says Love covers a variety of sins.
Always speak in truth with love and the truth shall sets us free.

Everyday is a lesson
Everyday is filled with joy and peace. Within the midst of confusion, we do know that there is always someone higher who is in control of our destiny. Today I started of the day with running about 5km around the estate, gaining a silver in IPPT is tough work. Nevertheless, the $200 matter more than anything else.
After that I went to church and listen a very powerful sermon entitled birthing your future by Ps. Phil Pringle. He is a very anointed preacher and it brings me great delight to receive the Word of God from him.
This is the phase I captured
Commitment can bring you somewhere where motivation and inspiration cannot.
This is because we constantly need to remind ourself that God has given us a purpose to accomplish a task for Him and we must be committed to complete it to the very end. Forsaking halfway is like completing the marathon at 99% and giving up the 1%. And you might as well don't take up the challenge. Many a time we are motivated and inspired after hearing a powerful sermon and teachings from our pastors. But how many of us actually internalised all the teachings and become part of our lifestlyes. It actually take faith and courage to say "Yes" let it be onto me according to your Word. The act of obedience needs courage and committment. Motivation and inspiration may empower you to do great things but it will not last, unless you are willing to say i am committed to the very end of the work that God has placed in me.
The world worst boss is you.
Laziness is always a hindrance to our productivity. We always have tons of excuses to escape the realities of hardships. We always blame others for the work not done. Things that are tough are left aside thinknig that we have more than enough time to do it. In actual fact, if we don't do now, we will be struggling at the end. Last minute work always produces sub-standard results. I can agree that sometimes I may be lazy but this blog will remind me to constantly work hard not for myself but for the benefit of God and His people.
After service, we went to the opposite coffeeshop to eat. What I eat is entire a private affair but I had fun teasing my cell mate, Brian about his branded "Emporio Armani" Spectacles which apparently cost $300. Hmm... Hey Brian, if you are looking this, peace dude. hmm and his ahemm Seiko watch... and don't eat too much popcorn, later u popped then u know...
Later at night, 2nd attempt at Jelly Hearts, hopefully this time around it will turn out right. Hey friends and family, if this time is good. You guys can try them soon hahaha...
