The power of words

The day starts with a fresh new day. Christmas seems to draw closer each day and i can slowly feel the excitement in the air. Attended Sunny Goh OTIA lecture, as always, learn a bit of things from him. Anyway, I went to Christmas carols after that and had fun practicing and can't believe in less than 12 hrs it will be the actual thing. Nevertheless, gonna give my best shot, God shall direct.

After that went to some costumes searching at bendeemer area, it has lots of different costumes but they were kinda expensive to rent them. Finally got an idea to dress as"HP" on that actual day itself. After that went to NEX for dinner. Not as many people as what many had said.

Later i went to friend's house for majong session. It was tiring but it was fun. Anyway take train back home with Jere, alighted at CCK station. and then took a cab home. $9. hmm is cheaper than i expected.

Taming of tounges
I was inspired when I read about the taming of tougues in the Bible in James 3:1-12. The tougue although is a small member of the body, it can add or destroy someone's life. It may not be physically damaging but it can cause emotional hurt to someone if we don't exercise wisdom when we talked. People can say that I am free to express myself in whatever I like but how many of us actually know that words can either make or break a person instanteously.

The words that are coming out from our mouth can actually set a whole forest on fire, that was what the Bible wrote. How true is that sometimes we may talk wildly or willfully without any considerations of others feelings, things will get complicated. There is a general saying, if we got nothing good to talk about, is better that we keep quiet rather than saying the wrong things. If we have good encouraging words say it out as it will edify and strengthen their beliefs.

Words have positive influence on each other life if only we speak in truth with love.
Words can make or break that person.
Words frame the world we live in.

In conclusion, we should always watch what we say and stay on guard to what are we going to say. Always exercise wisdom when talking and words that are discouraging, we should always forbabe talking about them. Like the bible says Love covers a variety of sins.
Always speak in truth with love and the truth shall sets us free.
