Analysis of the political environment in Singapore

This is an article written with respect to the climax of political environment happening in Singapore.

Bounded Rationality on choosing the right party
According to Herbert Simon (1958), he said that humans are bounded rational, rather than optimizing, the actor satisfies that is, choosing a satisfying course of action which is based on a sub-set of all alternative courses of action. These is especially true when there are information bombarding us about the various political parties agenda, in this case the good and the bad of them.

Choosing the right political party, requires careful thought and analysis and these require lots of time. Since living in Singapore can be quite busy sometimes, where do people find the time to scrutinize every party manifesto. Hence, we relied on network externalities such as word of mouth, online social media such as Facebook, The Online Citizen & Temasek Review to make a bounded rational decision to vote. In my opinon, the online netizens will have a more negative impression on the incumbent party.

Information is power
This would be better expressed as 'asymmetric information confers power' The central question which arises now is how distribution of information/knowledge in an organisation determines the way it is controlled and co-ordinated and, thus, perhaps also its objectives. Information about the overspending breakdown of the YOG budget is perhaps not reveal fully, how then can we know the justification of overspending. If the overspending was done to spur marketing efforts to attract tourists and provide jobs such as cleaners to clean the stadium, I can fully understand the government efforts.

Conclusion
There is a growing trend in which youth these days are taking their grievances onto social media, and they are not afraid to speak up their minds. While the incumbents have done a good job in ensuring the peace and stability of our country, the question is we are taught in universities to critically analyse the proposition and give an alternative answers to a particular question. Then why shouldn't we have a fair debate on the policies. The government should not dismiss the online netizens entirely as noise as some of them posted valid arguments for the betterment of Singapore. In order to be competitve in this world, we need to be innovative not just in businesses but also in politics as well. Clashes of ideas will bring forth ideas that may potentially bring our country to the next level.

Truth Prevails all

Negativity brings us to nowhere.
I wonder whats life going to be without me.
Well, it won't make any difference. Everything just move on.
The world just rotates as per normal.

Now, the issue is what if I am in the world,
I can't have all the friends in the world, some friends are closer, some are further.
Yet we live each day aiming to achieve something one day.
Is life really that mundane.
Well, to all people who are in this world, we are the citizens of Earth.
Now, we only have "this" lifetime here and the clock is ticking.
What matter most is we live each day as a present and

just yourself will make a difference in this world, if you choose to make the best out of your life.

Love transcend all things

What is more important than the world?
What is more important than ourselves?

I thank God for His unconditional love that He gave to all.
Whatever we have is nothing compared to having Him.
He is more than sufficient in our lives.

Well today it has been an impactful service.
I believe we should be truely thankful for the gift of life that has been given to us.

You. God. More than enough.

Living in the breath of God

So far for my prelims, hmm I think I did pretty well. haha.. Nevertheless, I am grateful for everything that has been placed in my hands.

Well, I am approaching the next stage of my life soon... real soon after these exams.
Every step I take is precious and I hope people who read my blog will be contented with their walk here on earth.

We live in a broken down world where bad things happen to good people.
Whatever circumstances we may in, be thankful for the life that is in you.
After all, we are staying temporary in this place.

Make an impact in this world, leave a footprint that touch lives.

Yours Truly,
Dennis

Why opposition parties matter in Singapore.

The government is economical and pragmatic.

It should look at the psychological and sociological aspects of the people lives.
To increase productivity among SIngaporeans is simple. You don't need a mathematical formula to do it.

We need to value the intrinsic value of human not in terms of economical aspects but genuinely treat Singaporeans as fellow brothers and sisters.

The red colour of our flag represents universal brotherhood and equality of man.
Be it poor or rich, all MPs have to serve without prejudice, discrimination and lastly without personal ambition.

The greatest regret is that we can do lots of things for the country but without the love for the people of Singapore, it is pointless.

Deep down our inner core, we knew the opposition have not given up, and keep on fighting for us all these years. They can easily say we quit because the PAP is too strong. But they kept improving, keep going all these years without complaining. They have the tenacity to face setbacks after setbacks. Have the audacity to question the policies implemented because they think for us Singaporeans.

I believed if Workers' Party win this election, they will treasure the opportunities given by us people. Because they knew they cannot failed and I know they will work hard for us Singaporeans. In my eyes there are real champions because they never quit despite the odds against them.

With this you have my vote. Singaporeans you heard the call.

Politics in Singapore

Well, I am very excited about the political atmosphere in Singapore right now.
What ever happens in this election will determines our future.

What I am sadden about is the response of our PM, the PM should be impartial to any political parties and be objective. Isn't Potong Pasir and Hougang part of Singapore, they deserve upgrading too. Why deprived them of upgrading, don't they pay taxes too?

Well God has said it in the bible.
I believe God is pruning us to focus on His people in this generation.
Events happen around the world are all concerning about His people. Is it all too coincidental ?

Remember is about loving His people and not about money, fame, fortune, prestige or power.

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Philippians 2:3

And lastly the truth has been reveal, and the truth shall set us free.

Treasure every moment

Sad
Disappointed
Anger
Frustrated
Joy
Worried
Happy

Emotions are parts that make up our soul.
How wonderful it is that we can express ourselves in this wonderful world.

Every moment counts to our experience with the world.
Cheer up all people, there is always something to smile for.
That is thank you for being here on earth.
